The waste is burned in the combustion chamber at high temperatures (usually 850-1200°C). In this process, the volume of waste decreases and energy is released. The heat released during the combustion process can be used to produce electricity through steam turbines or directly as heat energy. The gases formed after combustion are purified by advanced emission control systems and the release of harmful gases into the environment is prevented. The ash formed after combustion is removed from the furnace through ash gates and disposed of appropriately.
